Our Deed of Lease for Maryland Rental Properties
A synopsis of our Deed of Lease is no longer provided here due to the large number of changes that occur every year based on Maryland law. You can , however, view the PDF version, if you like. This is the document that both the landlord(s) and tenant(s) will sign before the tenants can move into the property. Some provisions may be different based on county or town rules, specific property details and owner needs. We gladly review the entire document with all potential tenants and future landlords.
We will attempt to provide information here to answer questions that we receive about various provisions of the lease document. Always remember that, regardless of whether you are a landlord or a tenant, the lease is a legally binding contract, so if you do not understand any of the provisions, you should seek competent legal advice before signing this document.
Depending upon the jurisdiction where the rental property is located, there may be some additional provisions and addendums required. In addition, some condominium complexes and HOA's have their own addendums that are required to be made part of the lease. We will provide all of those addendums, as needed. Don't hesitate to Contact Us if you have any questions or want to discuss the rental of your property.
