Where Do You Advertise and Market
Homes You Have For Rent?

Obviously, we advertise and market the homes we have listed for rent right here on our web site.  We develop Internet ads that provide detailed information and a photo spread for each home for rent.  You can see Our Current Listings of Maryland Homes for RentBecause of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a critical shortage of homes for rent (and for sale).  You can read more about Advertising and Marketing Homes for Sale or RentWe respond to the inquiries from prospective tenants and schedule appointments to show the homes for rent.

You can also review listings of Our Properties Under Management.  It shows you the neighborhoods where we are active.  Because of the complete re-design of our web site, though, we have not yet gotten all of the older homes for rent uploaded.

Advertising Homes for RentTraffic is directed to our web site mainly from the Google and Bing search engines.  Starting on September 22, 2013, we became a full-service real estate brokerage company.  That was when we started listing our rental homes in the Regional Multiple Listing Service (Bright MLS).  This allowed us to “push” our rental listings out to about 30 real estate web sites.  This happens automatically through the syndication service provided by Bright MLS.  Our rental listings are now easily available to all other Real Estate Agents.  Two of the biggest sites included in the syndication are Realtor.com and Homesdatabase.com.

In early 2020, Zillow announced that it and its subsidiary sites would no longer show rental listings offered by real estate agents for free.  We made the business decision to avoid paying their fees.  We believe that most rental listings offered by real estate companies are no longer found on these sites.

We have also used Military-By-Owner and the Automated Housing Referral Network (AHRN) to market homes for rent.  These sites cater mainly to people in the military.  They charge a fee for their listings of homes for rent.  We had relatively few “hits” from either.  We made the decision to no longer use them unless a homeowner specifically requests it.  They would need to be willing to pay the additional listing fees.  We are always looking for more outlets through which we can get the maximum exposure for your home for rent.
