Can You Schedule Showings of Homes
Not Listed by Your Company?
This is an easy process. When you are starting your search for homes to rent, you need to decide on the communities where you want to live. After you choose a Maryland county, you can click on the link of “Homes for Rent in xxxx, MD xxxxx“. This will open up a link of homes listed in Bright MLS that are available. It should open in a new tab on your browser.
As you look through the listings, write down the MLS number or property address for each listed home that you would like to see. Once you identify one or more homes, go back to the page on our web site. Scroll down to the CONTACT US FORM at the bottom of the page. You will need to provide us with your full name, cell phone number and e-mail address. Make sure that you tell us which properties you would like to see and provide a few times when you are available. This will help us to schedule showings for you. Because they are not out listed properties, we will need to coordinate with the seller’s agent to schedule showings.
Before we can actually show the homes to you, we will need to execute the Exclusive Right to Represent the Buyer/Tenant Agreement. It outlines your responsibilities and explains the compensation we will be paid for providing you with real estate services. You will also be required to upload a valid photo identification. Keep in mind that we cannot accommodate same-day showings of homes.
Because these homes are not our listings, we will need to schedule the property showings with the listing agent’s company. We may also need to coordinate the home showings with any current occupants. Because of this, it is important for you to be flexible with your timing as we work to schedule your home showings.
