How Do You Determine a
Real Estate Agent’s “Territory?”
We do not determine any “territory” where our agents can work. A real estate agent who is licensed in the State of Maryland is free to “go where the business takes them.” The only thing that we require is that the agent be knowledgeable about the jurisdiction where they are working. They also must be sure to use the appropriate contracts and addendums. The only other thing to keep in mind that DMS Properties, LLC Residential Real Estate Services handles ONLY residential real estate. If an agent comes across a commercial real estate opportunity, we will help them do a referral to a commercial real estate agent. This is done through our Nationwide Referral Network. The agent will then receive a referral fee.
