Good Neighbor Day!

We are willing to bet that this is a holiday you might not have heard of before.  It is National Good Neighbor Day.  This was proclaimed an official holiday by President Jimmy Carter in 1978.  Starting in 2003, though, it has been celebrated each year on September 28.

We are sharing some fun ways you can celebrate this day in your own neighborhood.  You can use these ideas for the day itself or on the weekend closest to it.  Celebrating may be as simple as dropping off a baked treat to a neighbor or coordinating a more elaborate neighborhood-wide gathering.
