Do You Work with Dual-Career
Real Estate Agents?

Yes, we are happy to work with Dual-Career real estate agents.  They are also known as part-time real estate agents.  Most people who get their real estate license start their career this way.  It’s actually a good way to start because the agent will have another source of income to fall back on while establishing a real estate career.  It’s scary to quit a full-time job to begin a career with no guaranteed income!

An unfortunate fact, though, is that most newly-licensed real estate agents leave the business within 3 years.  Statistics compiled by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) have shown that it normally takes a new agent about 5 years to become established.

We believe that DMS Properties, LLC Residential Real Estate Services is a good fit for Dual-Career real estate agents.  That’s because we don’t have mandatory company fees, transaction fees, desk fees or E&O Insurance fees.  There are, though, expenses you will still incur as you develop your business.  In addition to limited expenses, we think that our commission structure is ideal for dual-career agents.

Our Principal Broker, Dale M. Servetnick, actually started his real estate career as a Dual-Career agent.  He spent about 13 years at another company.  The mandatory fees the company charged their agents made it difficult sometimes.  That’s why we made the decision to go a different direction with our commissions and expenses.  If an agent decides that real estate isn’t the right career, then they can change their license status to “Inactive” and become a referral real estate agent.
