Do You Use Real Estate Agents to
Find Tenants for Your Rentals?

Yes, we do.  In September, 2013, we became DMS Properties, LLC Residential Real Estate Services.  We are a full-service real estate brokerage company.  The Principal Broker is Dale M. Servetnick.

Everyone who works for us is a licensed Real Estate Agent.  Our agents can market your property and show it to prospective tenants.  We do this using the Exclusive Right to Lease Residential Brokerage Agreement.  It was created and approved by our State Association, Maryland Realtors.  They make sure that it complies with current State laws.

We market our rental properties in the Regional Multiple Listing Service (Bright MLS).  That makes it possible for licensed Real Estate Agents from any company operating in Maryland to show our listed homes to their clients.

We charge the landlord a commission for finding a qualified tenant of 75% of the first-month’s rent.  Because of a change in the laws effective August 15, 2024, the landlord must decide what, if any, commission they will offer to agents who represent tenants.  Those agents must have a signed Exclusive Right to Represent the Buyer/Tenant Agreement to earn compensation and they are paid by their clients.  Any compensation that our landlord offers, if any, may reduce or eliminate the commission a tenant owes their agent.
